Just added Octave Forge Control Package support.
Supports packages now. Look for the Octave Forge Control, Signal, Fuzzy Logic and Mapping Packages in the Play Store.
Much closer to what a normal Octave install looks like.
Should fix most install issues.
Probably should uninstall previous version and then install newest version as Android doesn't properly free up space from libs.
Overview:
This is Octave for android. Free, open source numerical computing goodness. Like Matlab (trademark of Mathworks), but free and open source. Not some similar program, but really Octave built for android running natively. This is just the beginning. Please don’t rate the app yet as there are many known issues that are being worked through. It will mature significantly to be the same as running it on another OS. This is a different sort of app, you need the Android Terminal Emulator app (installed before installing this) for it, because you will be running octave in that terminal. Unpacking the executable and other files necessary for octave to run will take awhile when you first run this. You need droidplot for plotting to work. Whether this is installed to the sdcard or to internal storage, the executables and libraries will take up around 75B of internal storage either way.

GNU Octave is a high-level interpreted language, primarily intended for numerical computations. It provides capabilities for the numerical solution of linear and nonlinear problems, and for performing other numerical experiments. It also provides extensive graphics capabilities for data visualization and manipulation. Octave is normally used through its interactive command line interface, but it can also be used to write non-interactive programs. The Octave language is quite similar to Matlab so that most programs are easily portable.
